Canada Has a Problem

Canada Has a Problem: Today, Monday 15, July 2013 Canada’s Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, appointed Peter MacKay as Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. MacKay has never let the truth interfere with a good story and has unabashedly misled the people of Canada on more than one occasion. Are these prime requisites to become the Minister of Justice and AG of our great Country? I think not. Then again the Prime Minister himself has been telling some real whoppers lately. Is it a case of “birds of a feather”? I am sure the Prime Minister, like any good father, taught his children to be truthful. I often wonder how he explains to them why he tampers with the truth, which he does on many occasions, when he stands up in the House of Commons and is on National Television. We, the people of Canada, have become very complacent, and, as Rick Mercer once said, that is exactly what governments, at all levels, count on.
